Acupressure for Trauma Integration & Relief of Somatic Symptoms
In Chinese Medicine emotions are simply energy. Intense feelings such as anger or fear often serve vital purposes (to reveal our values or keep us safe); but in excess can cause physical imbalances in our body that manifest as physical dis-ease (rashes, pain, etc).
To help you restore balance, I activate points along the Eight Extraordinary Vessels to support your integration of chronically held emotions or undigested trauma. After consolidating difficult experiences (such as sexual abuse, accidents, or a surgery) clients often report feeling more whole and at peace. Treating the emotional roots of dis-ease in this way can also lead to more lasting somatic relief than merely addressing symptoms.
How does a session work?
The initial session begins with a confidential in-take where I listen carefully to your medical history, trauma history, and priorities for our work together. I then create a individualized treatment plan to integrate any imbalanced emotions or stuck trauma that may be negatively impacting your physical, emotional, or spiritual well-being.
Initial In-Take Session & Treatment / 90 minutes / $120
Each Subsequent Session / 60 minutes / $90

In Chinese Medicine, each of us is thought to have a ‘diamond,’ or true nature, residing within our heart. Chronic emotions, life stressors, & traumatic experiences can occlude this spark. Activating acupressure meridians, I help your body remove such occlusions to allow for physical symptom relief and realignment with your heart spirit. If you are ready to integrate a current, generational, or past life trauma negatively impacting your body-mind-spirit, we can activate one of the eight extraordinary vessels to seek relief.
